Thermally durable V-SCR catalyst with extraordinary wide operation window as a part of integrated SCR systems
As a part of future system integration of the emission aftertreatment devices, the thermal durability requirements are getting tighter also for SCR chemistry, substrates and many of the components regarding reductant dosing. One of the major trends is to integrate DPF and SCR functions into the single element enforces the improvements and development of both substrates and chemistries. Ecocat has developed the first vanadia SCR coating applicable for these integrated systems and provend durability up to 700 deg C is studied. The work has been done with both conventional substrates as well as with SCRF integrations. At the same time the operation window need to be widened to ensure sufficient efficiences during cold start as well as for high engine loads and element located near to the engine. The latest generation of V-SCR shows the breakthrough performance window.
