Influence of gasification temperature on the volumetric fraction of product gases
This paper constitutes an approach to experimentally evaluate the composition of a product gases of gasification. What was under investigation here was the influence of temperature of the process with respect to the volumetric fraction of carbon mono and dioxide, methane and hydrogen. Here all of those gases were elaborated separately revealing the influence of a temperature on a particular component. The experiment assumed measurement of temperature within various location in the gasification unit and confronting it with the volumetric fraction of product gases. Furthermore the temperature readings carried out with aid of thermoelements was enriched with termovision readings. The statistical data elaboration is a basis for optimization of gasification unit design in terms of generating optimal gaseous fuel for spark ignition engine.
