Impact of flameproof exhaust system on efficiency of selective catalytic reduction
Ecological problems associated with operation of diesel engine in underground workings are discussed. Characteristic features of diesel drives operating in workings threatened by explosion hazard, including technical problems with use of selective catalytic reduction, are presented. The results of stand tests of flameproof diesel drive, in which selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOX) was used, are given.
