Coal dust as a component of fuel for spark ignition combustion engine
Despite a known problems, request of carbon in form of dust, as a component of fuel (or as a stand-alone fuel) is still noticeable. Many scientific centers also Cracow University of Technology leads on this issue, model research and application. In this publication, the authors present results unique work on the use of a well-known fuel supply system of internal combustion engines as a pneumatic injection, using the hot exhaust gases for the applications of coal dust as a fuel component in the four-stroke spark ignition engine. The selected energy and ecological characteristics of the engine will be presented.
